as well as individual channels and variable sound gain; It's almost like the sound card could be rendered obsolete. Gigabyte has taken out M.2 and Mini PCIe and used the PCIe lanes for enabling Quad-SLI which is something I haven't seen so far in Z97 motherboards. More over, they've even provided SLI and Crossfire connectors for such niche configuration. Overall, this is no nonsense, high-end, enthusiastic board.
