The Gionee Elife S5.1 is one of the slimmest smartphones in the world and leaves no stone unturned in terms of design and build. The devices is like a flattened in Xperiasmartphone, which makes the iPhone 6
feel bulky. It weighs only 97.7 grams, making it lighter than most other phones. The glass back makes it a bit slippery, but slapping on a cover takes care of that and pretty much everyone does that. On the build and design front, the Elife S5.1 is actually one of the best.

In addition, the battery life, though better than what we expected, is nothing close to what its competitors come with. The 4.8 inch display doesn't feel lacking. The 8MP camera in normal light but fails under low light conditions. While the camera is acceptable, the performance overall isn't. The beautiful design doesn't make up for laggy experience.
